A Peaceful Santa Fe Getaway

About this assignment

Looking for a responsible & reliable person or couple to watch our home and care for our 2 sweet dogs from July 9th- July 20th, 2024. Our property is on 2.5 acres just outside the city (10-min drive to the Plaza) with a main house and 2 casitas. We are looking for someone to care for and walk our 2 sweet dogs, water our greenhouses & turn on some outdoor irrigation, and maintain our natural swimming hole (1x/week).

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Dog sitting & walking for 2 dogs - a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix, and a smaller Pyrenees/Border Collie mix. There is open land/walking trails behind the house for long walks.
Turn on irrigation for 2 greenhouses.
Turn on/off outdoor irrigation.
Maintain swimming hole (add H2O2, add water - 1x).
Clean up after yourself :)

What are the good features of the property and location

The land here is magical, and the location within Santa Fe is fantastic — only 10 minutes to the downtown plaza, yet feels a world away. There are hiking and biking trails from the backyard, and the house is very unique and cozy.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

House sitter must be reliable, responsible, clean, and have experience caring for dogs. Must be able to climb up and down stairs. Having a car is recommended.
