Fit and active Kiwi (New Zealand) couple looking for new pets and homes to love in 2022-24, anywhere in the world

Hi there
our names are Linda and King (Kingsley).....two warm and friendly Kiwi’s from ‘down under’...... thanks for taking time to check out our profile.
We are genuine, kind, caring, intelligent and positive.... adaptable and honest people, looking for pets and homes to love!
Don’t be put off by our age..... they call us mature and I guess we are that, but we are still young at heart with plenty of energy, fun, enthusiasm and experiences of life, to help us through the most difficult of problems, and best of times. We are independent, love traveling, finding our own way....... having a good laugh when we cant...... loving all the animals we care for, from cows to worm farms.
We don’t smoke, throw parties, nosey through your personal belongings or have any one else stay. We have a clean police record, an international drivers license with travel insurance and are happy to come to anywhere in the world that’s reasonably safe for a good long period of time and build other assignments around it. We’d love a car if one is available but often bicycles or public transports are fine or we can, and do, hire a car......failing that we walk!

Why they want to house sit

After some early travel and marriage in our late teens, bringing up children on our small farm, and a full working life building and letting houses, we were looking for something exciting to do with our later life. Pets and animals have always been a part of our lives so along with an interest in housing and travel, house and pet minding amongst local people with local customs seemed a great idea......and we love it!... having made a great many new friends in the process.

Their experience

During the past ten years we have enjoyed every one of our 16 sits in far away places.......Faial in the Portuguese Azores, Mexico, Chiang Mai in Thailand, Finland, Norway, France, Spain, Portugal mainland, Australia, England, Scotland and numerous others in our own NZ.
Our list of pets, farm animals, plants, orchards, gardens and homes goes on and on....... cats, Dogs, Chickens, Ducks, Geese, Pigs, Donkeys, Horses, Cows, Sheep, milking Goats, Pigeons, Fish and even worm farms!....... they have all been wonderful......allowing us to experience life and see places we might not otherwise have. While we are house sitting we make our own house at the seaside available to people we have sat for in the past.

What can they bring to the assignment

We take very seriously the responsibility of your pets, your home, and its security. We’ll love and care for your pets, play with them, walk with them and talk with them, get assistance to them when they are sick if we cant do it ourselves. We’ll report about their welfare weekly by email, or even daily if you wish...... it’s just part of our thing to do.
We have always owned a home and still do now have several, so we know what it is like to entrust your home to others. We are handy and capable when it comes to repairs..... are adaptable with unfamiliar equipment and will keep in touch with you about things to do with the running of the house, if that is what you wish.
Creating and caring for gardens, loving our plants, potted or not, and mowing the grass are all things we have done all our lives, so are second nature, as are keeping the house inside, clean and aired.
