Retired educators wishing to housesit in Great Britain

About this sitter

We, George and Ann, are travelers who love the British Isles. George is a retired industrial arts teacher and former architectural drafter. Ann is a former high school teacher. We are active, health conscious, non smokers who enjoy outdoor activities.

We are interested in temporary lodging while we do some "day tripping." We are pet lovers and George is "handy."

Why they want to house sit

House sitting would give us the opportunity to experience the lifestyle of the people in the area we visit while giving pets the companionship they need when their family is away.

Their experience

Over the past 25 years, we have owned and maintained properties that we have rented to others. We have traveled to England, Ireland and Scotland and rented housing in the past. Several summers ago, we spent two months housesitting for a family in Bracknell, England. We loved that experience so much that we are looking forward to another housesitting opportunity.

What can they bring to the assignment

House maintenance skills and loving pet care. We are mature, responsible and reliable.
We are prepared to care for the property and any pets as though they were our own.
