We have been retired for 8 years and love traveling. We lived in Europe for 4 years and Hawai'i for 3 years back in the 1980's and would love to explore more of this beautiful world.

Why they want to house sit

We find that house-sitting gives us an opportunity to become more connected with the communities that we visit, probably because the stay tends to be longer.

Their experience

Yes, we joined mindmyhouse about 8 years ago when we first retired and ended up housesitting for 7 months in northern California. We had a great time and the owner invited us to stay longer but we needed to return to spend more time with our new grandchildren. We let our membership lapse so when we rejoined we discovered that our old profile was lost forever. We can provide excellent references.

What can they bring to the assignment

We are experienced homeowners and I am a retired engineer who knows how to maintain and repair almost anything in a typical home. We are also experienced at caring for animals.
