About this sitter

I am a retired performing artist and film director that has spent the last 10 years in the desert learning the art of composting and sustainable living and writing. I'm a quiet and respectful person of integrity so after 30 years in Hollywood, nature is very important to me. Although my time producing has given me great assets of organizational skills and the ability to adapt to almost any situation.

Why they want to house sit

I miss traveling. When working I traveled a lot. I love being home and writing and creating but there is nothing like a change of scenery to inspire new creations.

Their experience

I am very experienced and have been doing some sort of care-taking since being an au pair in France in the 80s. Also I've been a homeowner myself so I'm very respectful of utilities and one's belongings; plus being in film/theater for the past 30 years has given me many tools as well. In film we must reconstruct to perfection after each shot so it is my nature to keep things as they were. I can keep an environment pristine while remembering where all was placed. I'm a good scout so I'll leave your home as clean or cleaner than I found it. Mostly, my experience comes from living. I love beauty and home. They are way up there in my priorities.

What can they bring to the assignment

Therefore what I can bring to the assignment is a loving, clean (spiritually and physically) environment, plus quiet joy and life. I think there is nothing more depressing than a shut in and up, dark home. A house needs life to keep its home status. Lastly the photo was the last joke between a good friend and myself. She was trying to make me feel better about her getting old.
