About this sitter

We are a part-time remote therapist and consultant couple, with a passion for nature, travel, home architecture, and animals. We’re seeking to serve individuals, couples, and families in need of reliable, kind, responsible, and trustworthy house sitters. We prefer long sits, but we’re open to short sits if the circumstances are right. We’re both fully vaccinated and quadruple boosted. We’re both non-smokers and can do basic plant and home care, as well as manage other workers, if needed. We’ve completed background checks via FBI and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for Global Entry & TSA Precheck, which allows us to travel efficiently anywhere in the world home owners may need us.

Why they want to house sit

We want to house sit because we love taking good care of people’s homes and pets while we travel the world. Over the past few decades, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed house sitting for family and friends, as well as in a professional capacity. House sitting allows us to give home owners peace of mind while they’re away, comfort and care for animals (if they have them), as well as offset some of our own travel-related costs. It’s a win-win-win situation for all people, property, and pets involved.

Their experience

We’ve had pets of our own (dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, gerbils, fish, etc.), as well as cared for animals of friends and family during day visits and long-term house sits. We've also volunteered at local animal shelters and completed house sits that were paid, reimbursed, and unpaid, depending on specific circumstances. We’ve owned and cared for our own houses for over 15 years, so we’re familiar with property maintenance. We have clean driving records and consider ourselves very responsible drivers.

What can they bring to the assignment

People would describe us as excellent communicators, who are mature, kind, organized, friendly, caring, and respectful of people's property, pets, and privacy. We have experience socializing animals, training them (upon special request), and looking after their overall wellbeing [feeding, cleaning, walking, playing with, petting, brushing, giving meds, etc.]. We’ll give your pets *tons* of time and attention if they want it. Our flexible schedules allow us to pack up and go on house-sitting assignments with relative ease.
