Hi there, we're Jo & Bogdan! For 4 years now, we have been pet sitting across Europe while working online remotely. We're a mixed couple from Australia & Romania, who met in London and decided to travel Europe together. We're in our late 20's and engaged to be married. Bogdan works online as a digital marketer and Jo is taking a break while we travel. We both have European passports, so no need for visas.

We love pets and are passionate about helping people out where we can and providing quality pet-care. Playtime and cuddles with gorgeous pets is our favourite time of day! We also love being able to meet new people from all over the world.

***What we're looking for***

- We complete pet-sitting as a mutually beneficial & mutually free exchange only, providing free pet care in exchange for free accommodation. We don't charge, and equally don't accept requests to pay for pet food & supplies, vet bills or contribution to house bills.

- We don't drive & require sits accessible via public transport.

- We are non-smokers and require smoke-free homes.

- We follow MindMyHouse policies and expect owners to do the same. We don't accept indoor & undisclosed cameras, third-party pets, or third party home occupancy during our stay.

- We ask owners to please share your departure and arrival times once booked, and inform us of any changes. If we're coming from abroad, we'll arrive in your country a day or 2 prior to avoid flight delays.

- Handovers: If you have an early morning departure, we're happy to arrive the evening before; otherwise, we'll arrive on the day for a handover. A simple Google Maps outline of your preferred dog walking route works perfectly. As well travelled, experienced & self-sufficient sitters, we don’t require extensive handovers or neighbourhood tours, ensuring an easy and stress-free transition.

For us, pet-sitting is a huge win-win for both parties (and the pets of course!). Not only do we get the joy and satisfaction of caring for pets and helping others out, but we also gain unique travel experiences that allow us to discover a new culture or place in a wholesome way where we feel part of the community. We take sitting seriously and find it rewarding in so many ways. We love this program and hope we can be your next pet sitter!

Their experience

We are experienced, full time consecutive sitters who have completed countless sits through various sites. We have sat small and large dogs of various breeds, plenty of cats and tank & pond fish. We have a consistent reputation of leaving owners with very happy pets, healthy green gardens and sparkling clean homes - plus we keep owners regularly updated and send through plenty of pet pictures!

For cats, we offer a calm and patient approach, understanding that many need time to feel comfortable around new people. We let them warm up at their own pace, providing affection and playtime when they’re ready.

For dogs, we can provide up to 2 daily walks, playtime, and plenty of affection and cuddles. For a fair exchange, we sit dogs who can be left for 5 - 6 hours, allowing us time & flexibility to discover your area.

We have sat many senior pets, and are experienced with administering medications and taking pets to the vet if necessary.

We have also completed volunteering for families through 'Workaway,' but caring for people's pets and gaining all those free cat and dog cuddles has become our favourite way to travel.

Jo also grew up with various pets (including both cats & dogs) and knows how to care for rabbits & rodents, turtles, frogs, chickens and birds.
