About this sitter
We are a couple -Marcos and Marta- and we are both 49 years old even though we look younger :-) We both have dual Spanish-Australian citizenship. We are business owners and can work from anywhere. We are well travelled and educated and will treat your home like ours. We are looking for new experiences while working remotely (a good Internet connection is a must for us). We prefer small pets and places that are not very isolated. We are non-smokers and are into healthy living and eating.
Why they want to house sit
We love experiencing new places and house sitting is a great way to explore the world while also enjoying the company of a pet. Many house sitting places are well suited for digital nomads and your pet(s) will benefit from having us around if they are used to having company. House Sitting can give you the feeling of being in a place that feels more like a home.
Their experience
We both grew up having animals around. Marcos was responsible for the family cat -Chispas- since very young in Australia while Marta used to spend time in her grandparents' farm in Spain since she was a child. Then as adults we started taking care of our neighbours' and friends' pets when they went on a trip or a weekend away: they would trust us with their loved ones and their homes. We have never had a complaint :-)
What can they bring to the assignment
We are very respectful, reliable and responsible. We are also low impact and spotless as well (Marta in particular: she really appreciates clean places). We are also very caring and will do our best for your pet(s) to feel comfortable and happy with us (and of course we will keep you updated during our stay).

Caring and responsible housesitter highly recommended
Marta looked after our home and cats for two weeks this august 2022. She is very responsible, communicated quickly and even cleaned the house for my arrival home! All was in perfect order and cats were obviously well cared for, happy and even spoiled! She kept the garden watered and charmed the neighbors. Big plus! I would love to have her back again whenever she comes to the area!

Amazing & caring cat/house sitter !!
Marta has been absolutely lovely, taking care of our 2 cats, our house and our plants for a week. Communication was very easy, she is easy-going, trustworthy, very caring and polite. She bonded with our cats, we found them very happy and relaxed upon our return. She cooked a delicious dinner for us the day of our return, we really appreciated it ! We recommend Marta 100%. Any pet owners would be lucky to have her as a pet sitter.
