About this sitter
I am a retired man of 73 years. I have lived in various parts of the world due to my profession in the oil and gas industry. I now miss the travel and opportunity to see new places and meet new people. I own a home in Costa Rica and have used MMH to find people to care for my home and pet. I know what a home and pet owner expects from their sitter. Sadly, I also know what they DONT want from experience.
Why they want to house sit
Now that I have been retired for nearly 10 years I am miss seeing new places and meeting new people. I truly believe you will be pleased with that which I will bring to your home and the care for your pets.

Yes, I have cared for homes and pets of others. Now I have completed my first sit in Spain. I can deliver references of such if needed
I have one sit with MMH, it will be completed in early Jan. 2025
What can they bring to the assignment
I think the main thing I bring is an understanding of what a homeowner would expect from a sitter. I have used sitters in my home on several occasions. I am serious and honest. I will keep your home clean and in good order. Your pets will be happy campers with me. I will follow your instructions and guidelines.

Cold comfort farm!!!
Ward (Butch) came from a warm Costa Rica to an unusually cold Spanish farmhouse while I was away. He didn't complain but stacked the logs and loved the dogs. He made friends with my friends and was generally delightful to have around.
