About this sitter
I love cats, dogs, pets, and animals in general. For me, they are magical beings and I enjoy taking care of them.
I am fairly quiet. I meditate. I enjoy walking in nature. Write. Drink coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon.

You can see references from some the sits I have done on this site. I have also helped friends out over the years with their pets, mostly cats, and I even did a couple of paid pet sitting jobs. More references available on request.
What can they bring to the assignment
Love for animals and nature. I have volunteered in dog shelters, taking care of dogs rescued from medical testing in northern Peru. I took them for walks along the beach. Seeing their faces smile as they enjoyed some time of freedom, curiosity, and fun - were very beautiful moments.
I also assisted as a veterinary assistant and health educator in the Peruvian Amazon in mobile veterinary clinics. Mostly I administered medicine, assisted in spading surgeries, and helped to wake up the animals after surgery.

Wonderfully considerate house sitter
I would wholeheartedly recommend Kim as an honest, reliable, pet-loving, neat and tidy house sitter. Kim looked after my 5 cats and my large house and garden wonderfully whilst I was away for approximately 3 weeks. We were already away when she was available to come to the house but she readily agreed to meet me beforehand so that I could hand over the keys and discuss the requirements. Kim sent me photos every day of each of the cats and had such a way with them that they missed her when she was gone, going up to her room and crying to be let in!

House sitting
Kim was wonderful! We chatted on the phone for over an hour before she came to our house, and it really put my mind at ease, with leaving a stranger in our house for 2 weeks. She was so friendly and easy to chat to when we finally did meet, and wasn't one bit worried about our big bear, who thinks he's only a small dog. Or the fact that our 3 year old got in bed with her during the night before we left. Kim sent me pictures almost everyday while we were gone of the fur babies, including the cat, who definitely claimed Kim as one of her own by sleeping on her scarf and in bed with her every night. When we came home, Kim had taken the sheets off the bed and tidied around the house and had dinner waiting for us when we got home. It was so nice to come home after along day of travel to dinner and not having to clean anything! We would definitely have Kim again! I'm just sorry we didn't actually have more time together to chat more.

Lovely House Sitter
Kim was the perfect house and pet sitter. The animals loved her and I had no worries about the house or my beloved pets whilst I was away for a month. She didn’t ask me any questions at all, just sent photos and little updates on a regular basis which was very comforting. I came home to a lovely home cooked meal, a tidy house and happy animals. Just what you need after a long day travelling. I would highly recommend Kim as a house and pet sitter, you would honestly struggle to do better. She is a lovely person, kind, thoughtful, considerate and reliable.
