About this sitter

Dear friends, I am 53 years old and own a taxi business on the island of Crete in Greece. I am a total animal lover, and i even prefer animals better then humans. I just lost my 21 year old and disabled Babycat Pippie to the rainbowlights, and i am totally crushed.
I have so much love to give to any pet coming my way.
I am traveling long term, and my cat traveled with me.
But now i don't want another pet on my travels, but i still have this empty space in my heart, i need to fill with a sweet cuddely love bug.
That is what i am looking for in a house sit, to express all the love in my heart to your lovely pet.

Why they want to house sit

I want to fill that empty space in my heart, that only a sweet pet can fill.
I want to make your pet so happy and feeling so loved, that it will, temporary of cause, forget all about you not being there.
I myself had several pet sitters, as long as my sweet Babycat was with me , so i can feel you, and what you need from me.
You want your pet to be taken care of, in a loving and responsible way, but also you want it to be loved a little bit more then that, so it wont be sad, that you are gone.
That i can do, i can guarantee from my heart.
My sweet Pippie was always a bit disabled, but the last 3 years, she could not walk at all, and she peed all over the place. I changed her diaper several times a day, i helped her pee and poo with massages, i took care of her when she had seizures, fed her and holding her the water, put her to bed with blankets and cuddled for hour with my little love baby. And all of that made me nothing but crazy happy, cause nothing can make one more happy, than giving unconditional love from the heart.
And that is what i want to do with your pet too.

Their experience

I always had pets in my life, rabbits, dogs and cats, and i always loved them like best friends.
Especially the 21 years with Pippie teached me so much about love, patience and intensive care.
As a kitten, she was going to be put down, cause she could not walk.
Without a second thought i rescued her, and with massages and vitamins i made her walk again.
More like a rabbit, but she was just pure happiness and gratefulness.
She always loved life, no matter what.
The last 3 years she had athrites, seizures, blatter infections, ringworm infections and was not able to walk or use the toilet.
I always brought her back to life, and took care of her with all my heart, and so i learned a lot about care and communication with disabled and sick animals.
Also in my free time i volunteed at animal rescues on the island of Crete, where i live, cleaning , taking care of sick animals, feeding and walking them.
And it always filled my heart with joy, to be able to give them happiness.
So yes i guess you can say, i am very experienced.

What can they bring to the assignment

I can bring all the love and dedication for your pet, especially if it needs extra special care, cause of disability or sickness.
Also i am a very independent and flexible but also very loving person, as by choice i live on my own for many years, have built several businesses and traveled the world as a solo female traveler off the beaten path.
So i am very adaptable and fearless in any situation, and can act independent and streetwise. I am very capable to take care of your pet and your property in every way needed.

I am so grateful for my opportunity to care for Kerstin's sweet cat Pippie. The studio apartment by the sea was perfect for me, and Pippie is such a lover! She's a bit shy at first, but once she gets comfortable with you she's so snuggly and easy to care for. Kerstin was also a great host, providing me with transport to and from the port, giving clear instructions, and having lovely meaningful conversations before and after the trip. I felt very comfortable in her home and would gladly house sit for her again :)

Sofia was a wonderful and loving mommy to my disabled cat Pippie
My cat sitter had to leave suddenly as i was far away. I was in a state of panic. She then found Sofia and right away i had so much trust in her and i calmed down. The way she was taking things in her hands and being so responsible mindful and observant of every detail, she gave me the feeling, that she will handle everything independent and professional. Without any explanations or instructions from me, she was able to fit in this completely unknown situation with an disabled cat and find everything on her own. I felt secure and relaxed to have her being Pippies Mom. Because Pippie is old and she has a disability in her back legs, that was a big challenge. She was very careful and sensitive to Pippies needs, finding always the best way to make her comfortable. She showed a big knowledge about caretaking pets and informed me about every detail so i could really be sure that my Baby will be cared for in any case. She sent me fotos of her and was as attentive and reliable as can be. Also my home was very well looked after and she had put a lot of love in it, to make it beautiful. Pippie had a really hard time seeing Sophia leave after i came back. She missed her for a long time, always looking for her in the room she used to sleep. So she was a very loving Mommy to her. It was a great pleasure to meet this inspiring and strong young woman, and i would trust her with anything in a heartbeat. I deeply recommend her for any house and pet sit, especially the more complicated ones with animals with special needs or great organisation skills needed. She will make you feel, that she can handle any situation with ease and you can enjoy your stay without any worries like i did. Lindsay took care of me 17 years old, disabled and extremely fearful cat with medical issues, Pippie , for 2 month while i was travelling. When i came back i found my cat very happy and healthy and also extremely relaxed and well taken care off .
