About this sitter

I’m an Army veteran, recently retired after 30 years as a Military Intelligence Officer. Maintaining a security clearance was a career requirement, and indicative of my integrity and good judgement. Originally from KY, I've lived in many places across the US., but am moving soon to Harmony to pursue one of my passions and dreams. In January 2025, I begin a six month Dog Trainer course. I'm interested in house sitting to ease the transition and facilitate the educational experience.
Fortunate to have retired at a young age, I continue to be active and adventurous - enjoy hiking, swimming, weightlifting, cycling, traveling, and good cuisine. I was stationed in three European countries during seven years, and was fortunate to have traveled extensively.
Friends and family trust me implicitly. I’m looking for mutual respect and trust in a house sit. I’ve owned two residences for more than 33 years combined. I’m 100% responsible and respectful.
I want to house sit in the Statesville/Harmony/Union Grove area to facilitate my training course.

Why they want to house sit

I'm scheduled to attend an intensive, comprehensive Master Dog Trainer certification program and need a peaceful, well-maintained house in which to study and relax. I recently returned from a house-hunting trip to the Statesville, NC area and discovered a frustrating rental situation. I'm hoping this website can ease the stress of a short term move and open up additional housing resources. Please consider me for your home.
