About this sitter
Hi! We are retired couple who came from Ukraine to the United States. Our son lives here with his family, but we are looking for new destinations to experience like a local. So, we are able to spend extended periods of time away from home without worry. We are passionate about animals and will take care of your home as if it was our own. Viktor walks a minimum of 5 miles every day and would be happy to take your dog with him if he/she would like to go.
We are both non-smokers.
We can follow instructions and be flexible to fit your preferences.
We would be happy to answer any questions you might have or to provide you with any additional information.

WE DO NOT CHARGE A FEE: We are seeking to house and pet sit in exchange for stay-over arrangements.

We are so thankful that Viktor and Nadia were willing to take care of our place in Florida and help clean and continually make it presentable to potential buyers as we prepared to sell our home (which we sucessfully did! We had such peace with Viktor and Nadia looking after our place and are so thankful they got in touch with us via MindMyHouse! They worked tirelessly, caring for the lawn and pool and keeping our home clean and beautiful, looking after gardens and orchards with diligence. Total Peace of Mind House sitters
Nadiia and her husband Viktor, newly arrived Ukrainians to the U.S. took the best care of both our home and 1/2 acre of flower and vegetable gardens along with the garden birds while we were traveling for 3 months. We invited them to come a week early to get acclimated, learn how we did things, meet the neighbors, one of whom would act as a point person if needed, and start English classes which I had found offered in our community free of charge. We used Google translate to communicate, which was relatively easy and fun. We have lived abroad ourselves and felt comfortable navigating language challenges. Their son who has been in the US for 11 years was a resource as well when needed. They were long-time home owners with their own even larger garden, so knew how to take care of a place, but were nonetheless committed to doing things our way. We added Viktor to our auto policy so he could drive our pick-up truck for food shopping, and English classes etc. while we traveled. That worked perfectly with no problems. We left them with a gift card to a local hardware store so that they could buy whatever might be needed while we were gone. We came home to a sparkling clean house, and a refrigerator filled with delicious meals Nadiia had made for our return. Herbs had been dried, others frozen, pickles were made and lettuce and spinach planted for us to enjoy during the fall. The garden was still producing and we got to enjoy tomatoes and peppers. They took extraordinary care of our lawn, flower and vegetable beds and home; we were frankly amazed. The garden birds, our "pets", were fed routinely and were a constant source of delight for Nadiia and Viktor along with other garden visitors. Once a week or so we used WhatsApp to communicate, send and receive updates, pictures and even a couple videos of our garden to both share and show the meticulous nature of their work. Nadiia and Viktor, are honest, extremely hardworking, and easy going, just the best people anyone could hope for to care for one's home. They are family now. We had no issues or problems while we traveled which was a huge gift to us, this being our first trip after Covid and newly retired. We wholeheartedly recommend Nadiia and Viktor to care for your home with total peace of mind.

Great house sitters!
I had the privilege to meet Viktor and Nadia at the time when I was preparing to go overseas for three weeks to visit my family. I was struck by their kindness and warmth and we connected immediately. They are wonderful, reliable people who can be trusted completely for a house sitting assignment. They kept in touch while I was overseas, providing me with constant updates. I returned after my trip to find a clean and tidy house and beautifully maintained grounds and a happy cat. I would highly recommend Viktor and Nadia to any house owner who looks for a house sitter. Great people!
