About this sitter

We are Amaia and David, a vibrant, animal-loving couple living in the heart of Barcelona, Spain. Amaia is a fashion designer working remotely, making us flexible in terms of location, and David is a renowned counter-tenor in early music. He has an impressive career, spanning almost three decades, performing worldwide with esteemed groups like Jordi Savall, Ricercar Consort, Capella Mediterranea, Saquebutiers de Toulouse, and Giles Binchoise, for example. Originally from the Basque Country, we enjoy exploring different environments, be it bustling cities or peaceful rural areas. We're seeking house sitting opportunities that allow us to discover new locales, engage with local communities, and care for adorable pets. Our ideal house sit would offer us a sense of adventure and a comfortable environment for us and potentially our 13-year-old black cat, Dalton, who almost always comes with us.

Although we signed to this platformon summer of 2023, we are no strangers to travelling and adapting to new environments. We've experienced all kinds of accommodations, from urban apartments to rural cottages. We take pride in leaving spaces as we found them, if not better, treating them with utmost respect as if they were our own.
