About this sitter

Hello! We are here to take LOVING CARE of your home and your animal family. Here is a bit about our experience with each.

Since childhood, we each have always had dogs and cats. We love their big hearts, silliness, tenderness, …. Taking care of their medical needs is also something we have experience with. I grew up mucking horse stalls and have raised birds, guinea pigs, ferrets, mice, rats, hamsters, fish, dogs, and cats almost my entire life (53 years), and Ananda has raised dogs, cats, and chickens. We miss having animals in our life and would treasure the chance to give yours some love.

Houses and land care are nothing new to us. Ananda has been managing property and handy-manning for over 30 years. We lived off grid for 6 years and loved it.

Empty nesters now, we sold our self-renovated 2,000 square foot home in Vermont and hit the road for more lumens!

Working remotely as a college instructor and employment coach, we traveled the world and found Santa Fe (re-found it actually). We enjoy walks, hikes, bicycling, movies, reading, gardening, learning, …. so many things. We are passionate about kindness, spiritual/personal development, and beauty.

Why they want to house sit

We have been digital nomads for the past two years, and housesitting both nationally and internationally will help expand our life. We currently are based in Santa Fe, and are looking to build up our reference base. And, we very much enjoy caring for a home and animals!

Their experience

We have decades of experience caring for our own and other peoples’ animals and homes in the southwest and Vermont. We do not have any pets now. We understand the importance of taking care of all the details for a happy home, pets, and gardens. When caring for pets, we appreciate they are all individuals and we take the time to let them get to know us. Your routine with them matters and we will do all we can to maintain that for their happiness (and yours!). From handyman repairs to renovations, cleaning to complete demo, we’ve done it. Taking great care of your home comes easily. Also, we value communication, so keep our phones handy at all times so you can reach us easily.
