About this sitter

I've been around animals all through my life. As an adult I have had three cats (kittens then as adults, and older cats) and three dogs at various times over the years. I love animals and they take to me extremely well.

I'm retired from Mechanical Engineering, Computers and Technology, and my own online store for Organic and eco-friendly bedding and clothing. For half of my career I worked for myself. I say all this to show professionalism and decision making in my work and personal lives. I have owned three houses over 41 years and know how to care for them. And will care for yours with respect and tidiness as I always have for my own.

I am very active and, before I left the States, played a lot of pickleball (a sport that started in the United States in 1965 and is now growing rapidly worldwide) 3 to 4 times a week for 2 to 4 hours at a time. I only say this to give you an idea of my activity level. I keep myself in good shape. Also, I don’t smoke or drink.

Why they want to house sit

I am retired and love to travel. I am traveling in Europe in 2024. I have left the United States to travel the world for several years. My schedule is very flexible for pet sitting arrangements as they arise. It works favorably for both of us: for you to have a knowledgeable and experienced house and pet sitter for free and for me to reduce my travel costs.
