About this sitter

I, Johanna, have been a language nerd since I was a child, and making freelance language teaching my main focus three years ago, I took that to a more professional level. I enjoy studying, knitting, teaching, and generally fixing things.
My Partner, Patric, is a (mostly) freelance photographer, editor, and former carpenter. He loves long walks, Tom Waits, and chocolate.
Our party days are over, nowadays we prefer solitude and/or the company of pets, watching TV shows, nature time, and simply sleep :)

Why they want to house sit

We love to travel but don't like hotels. We also enjoy the community idea of trading a service for a service, so nobody has to spend tons of money.

Their experience

I have been a foster mom to several rescue cats, and I have done a lot of semi-professional pet sitting for friends these last years, including month-long stays that included gardening and minor maintenance tasks (I also have passion for plants and carpentry). I have also taking care of several human puppies, each over the course of several years...
Patric has been a cat-owner for years and has raised three kids. I call that experience :)

What can they bring to the assignment

We're quiet, we're clean, we're responsible and experienced at running a household.
