Cats are similar and dissimilar. I am always prepared for this situation. It is a heartwarming feeling when they are not shy and they come and collect their cuddles. It is challenging when one is feral but nevertheless very gratifying when I have success in having them on my lap. Or when one hides indefinitely in a place where I could not confirm, with the sound of the doorbell and I panic. Or when they follow you as I head into the kitchen. Or when I ran wild because I thought the cat fell from the balcony but actually was in the wardrobe of the owners (I do not open owner's wardrobes at all). The list goes on. And this is the excitement of caring for cats.

Why they want to house sit

I love cats! I love them around me. My measure of success is despite being a stranger, they sleep with me. I love cuddling them!

Their experience

I have been catsitting for almost three years now! I can not wait to have more cats to take care of! At one point, I catsat 8 cats!

What can they bring to the assignment

My nickname is Talé, a Filipina married to Stephan, a German and we have one son, Adrian who is at the moment 19 years old. We have been expats from 1993 until 2016 when we have moved to Germany because of school for Adrian. I work with children as I am a franchise owner of a KUMON study center here in Erlangen, Germany. I love that I found my place in KUMON as it is not easy to find a job for me in Germany, despite being a licensed Medical Technologist in the Philippines. We have been expats due to Stephan's job with different governments: German, Finland and most recently with the United Nations. Our son, Adrian is studying Economics in Heidelberg in the oldest university of Germany. He accompanied us in one recent catsit in Valencia, Spain. If available, I would arrive a day ahead so we could meet and make a proper turnover of your cats and house. Your baby will feel well loved showered with tons of cuddles and caresses. I definitely leave your place neat, tidy and clean. I do not pry into your private belongings. I do like looking where the things are in the kitchen. I am not a great gardener. I do have a hand for orchids. They still might wilt though. My family finds it funny that I talk to my plants and reproach them if they are not giving flowers or thriving well. I am trustworthy, respectful and you could expect that I'd treat your pets and home the same as I want others to treat ours.
