About this sitter

I'm a reserved person who likes to read. I'm currently attending college for a theatre degree. I'm crafty and like to knit and embroider. I'm looking for local sits to still make it in to my day job, especially if I won't get paid for the sit. But I want to get used to traveling to make it less stressful. Cats are nice for sits; dogs would be preferred to be very calm or senior as I have a fear/strong caution involving dogs that I wish to work on.

Why they want to house sit

1. to work on my anxiety involving new places.
2. to work on getting over my fear of dogs.
3. to eventually travel to new places.

Their experience

I have house sat my aunt's house with the family's three cats. She didn't pay me unless being allowed to eat what was in the pantry counted. I never saw one of the cats he was so shy but I made sure the other two didn't eat his food. And even if they kept me awake at night by attacking my toes under the blankets, I couldn't be mad at their cute faces.

What can they bring to the assignment

I like following a routine so I can keep things as familiar as possible for the pets by sticking to the routine the homeowner gives. I also have a long to be read list so I'll spend time curled up with the pets. For longer stints, I have experience living on my own and am comfortable with adult responsibilities like bringing in mail, paying bills, taking out trash, etc.
