About this sitter

hi! I am a 38 year old social worker who is taking some time away from working and looking for a fun stay-cation. I live with my partner in Seattle and while we don't have any pets currently, we had a dog for several years, both grew up with pets, and love animals -- I became a vegetarian in high school after realizing I liked animals so much I wouldn't want to hurt them! So I am interested in either housesitting or petsitting and excited to explore a new house, neighborhood or even city, as well as getting to spend time with animals. I'm also just wanting some quiet time for reading, meditation, etc. so house sitting seemed like the perfect option!

Their experience

I have house sat several times and as described above I have also spent a lot of time with animals including our own dog, who had behavioral issues so I really got to develop a better understanding of working with animals and treating them respectfully and on their own terms.

What can they bring to the assignment

See above but I can add that I do think of myself as a conscientious and clean person so feel confident I could leave any house I'm in in a good and respected condition :)
