As a retiree from Bayer Corp. and college graduate, I have worked in manufacturing, taught at Ivy Tech Community College in South Bend, Indiana, and substitute taught in area school districts.

If you are looking for a dependable, respectful, conscientious, tidy, and non-smoking sitter, here I am. I am Nancy. I have a very flexible schedule. I enjoy all pets, except for snakes.

It is post-COVID, and after being quarantined in Barcelona five days in March of 2020, I am ready to explore again. I am fully vaccinated, boosted and take all safety precautions.

I enjoy learning, and traveling is an amazing way to see parts of the world on a moderate budget. I have excellent personal and business references, and I welcome a background check.

I have extensive experience boating in both large and small boats. Additionally, I enjoy snow skiing, reading, and I am passionate about teaching and learning.

Why they want to house sit

Experiencing different things is an opportunity to learn new things in various parts of the world. I enjoy animals; I have always had cats. Currently, Ms. Chewy allows me to live in her condo. By no means am I opposed to canines; however, my home is not dog-friendly, as I live in a second-story riverside condo. Ms. Chewy enjoys lying on the balcony watching the boats pulling skiers and tubers through the summer. (Ms. Chewy's cousin who will stay with her while I am on my adventures.)

I am experienced in maintaining a home. As a long-time homeowner (50 years), I am aware of the importance of maintaining a home following unexpected death of my husband (2013). I solely maintained our 2200 sq ft riverfront family home, yard and boat dock before purchasing a riverside condominium in 2021.

What can they bring to the assignment

I have lots of snuggles, walks, and love for your fur babies. I enjoy brushing and brushing and brushing.
