About this sitter

I am an organized empathetic mom to two adventurous kiddos. I have lived abroad and attended university abroad. I love studying other languages and travelling. I am looking for a place where my husband can continue to work and manage his work commitments while allowing my kids and I to create memories while on summer vacation from school.

Why they want to house sit

Now that I am a mother with a career it has become challenging to find the time and finances to travel with my family. I want my kids to not only see the world but experience and immerse themselves into new cultures and lifestyles.

The opportunity to house sit for someone allows my family the freedom to explore new places while also maintaining a steady home base which gives both myself and my kids a much needed sense of security.

I am an EXPERIENCED caregiver. As a primary school teacher that works with children I regularly juggle the many tasks required to manage a room of over 20 kids. I am an EXPERIENCED homeowner. I understand the many responsibilities related to caring for and maintaining a home. I am also and EXPERIENCED traveler. I have lived abroad in places like Estonia and South Korea. I know what it takes to prepare for a move and ensure I have everything required to travel internationally (like visas and travel documents).

What can they bring to the assignment

I will ensure that your home, pets, and garden/living spaces continue to thrive as if you were still at home. I will treat your home as if it were my own. Something unique to allowing me to care for your home is that this will be a learning experience for my kids. I will be teaching them about how to care for things that aren't ours, how to empathize and think about things outside of ourselves, and how to be grateful and gracious for the opportunities we are given.
