About this sitter

We are a 65 & 54 year old non-smoking, non-vaping, honest and dependable couple available to take care of your home and pets. Our years of experience along with our references from previous clients will attest to these qualities that a home & pet owner would look for when leaving their prized possessions, home and adoring pets in our care.

We are able to provide security for your property and true companionship for your pets by working online from the comfort of your home (unlimited internet is a necessity).

Why they want to house sit

We enjoy traveling while making new friends as we are looking after their homes and pets. We do prefer housesits of at least a month in length, but are willing to consider a shorter duration. We also love taking care of pets - with our traveling lifestyle we are unable to have our own.

* 5 months of Winter/spring on Cape Cod with the best companion cat to keep us company while enjoying the off-season in a beautiful home & lovely property for 4 different years.

*Six months in central coastal Florida with various pets over the years who helped us prep for hurricanes & tropical storms annually since 2016.

*6 months looking after 3 big personality mini-schnauzers in a luxurious waterfront condo overlooking the Kennedy Space Center.

* Six multiple month long term sits in various locations throughout Mexico including:

-Five times in the colonial mountain town of Patzcuaro with one wonderful Thai Ridgeback who has plenty of dog kisses for us every we return to the lovely home within walking distance of local markets and the central plaza;
-The charming lakeside village Erongaricuaro with a delightful Labrador Retriever and two curious cats;
-Three different properties (a home, an inn and a b&b) in the beach town of San Pancho, all with a dog, cats or multiples of either.
-One oceanfront in a small beach village near Zihuatanejo, with two fun-loving dogs who enjoyed the beach as much as we did.

*Five months in a small western Massachusetts town on a family run maple farm looking after a sweet dog, unique home and garden while helping with several aspects of their home based syrup business.

*A wonderfully located home in the beautiful city of Savannah with four indoor cats, all with their own unique personalities.

*Taking care of a fun, coconut chasing Rottie mix in the amazing Pinecrest neighborhood of South Miami.

*A month in the Florida Keys with two amazing dogs who enjoyed daily walks to the local waterfront park.

*Two months with 3 indoor cats in on the central Atlantic coast of Florida with a large yard to care for overlooking a small pond that provided birdwatching opportunities on the screened in back porch for us (and the cats!)

*Sitting for two playful Frenchtons and 5 egg laying hens close to the beach in Carlsbad, CA.

*Three weeks 25 miles north of Manhattan with two wonderful Giant Schnauzers in a stunning property; repeating this sit 3 more times.

*Three months in the winter/spring looking after a sweet dog and lovely home in a quaint beach-side town on the Jersey Shore.

*5 months looking after a waterfront home in New Bern, NC while overseeing a lengthy construction project for the owners while they were abroad.

*Sitting over the winter holidays in a centrally located downtown Seattle high-rise with an entertaining and adorable young cat.

* Experiencing city living in a downtown Boston apartment with two sweet cats to keep us company over Christmas and New Years.

* A five-month off-the-grid sit with two beach loving rottweilers on a thirteen acre tropical property on the island of Vieques;

* A month with five enjoyable "potcake" dogs on an unique oceanfront property in Eleuthera, Bahamas;

* One month on a remote island only accessible by boat in the Abaco Islands of the Bahamas, on a large off-the-grid property with organic gardens, chickens and a koi fish pond.

What can they bring to the assignment

We have been house/pet sitting for over 15 years on a variety of properties ranging from off-the-grid islands to modern central city locations. We have dealt with various daily tedious issues that any homeowner can relate to as well as the ones they dread - from digging out in a blizzard to preparing and going through major hurricanes. We have experience with solar & wind power, rain water catchment, yard & basic gardening, pool care as well as overseeing household staff.

We will stay in touch with you as much (or as little) as you desire. We can collect your mail, forwarding any details as needed in addition to providing regular updates on your home and pets. We have assisted past clients with their businesses - from customers placing orders for products to managing reservation requests. We have helped out with unforeseen emergencies such as coordinating medical information with physicians and assisting with filing taxes. We offer complete trust and discretion as we have managed staff salaries and household bills with funds left by clients. We will also honor your privacy - nothing posted online or in social media with specific details of your home, travels or pets while you are away.
