I'm a vocalist, drummer, songwriter, into meditation, yoga, and married to a NYT Best Selling author, podcaster. We've had many pet dogs and cats throughout our lives; now we're in our sixties, we really want to spend time taking care of - and loving on - other people's pets while their owners are away.

Why they want to house sit

After years of living in the Illinois flatlands, we're ready for more dramatic scenery!

Their experience

My husband and I have owned dogs and cats since we were children. My first pet was a Siamese at age 12, his a poodle at age 5 and throughout our lives many more that were all rescues both here in the US and UK.

What can they bring to the assignment

We’ve always taken a holistic approach to the welfare of our animals, feeding them healthy foods, making sure they get regular exercise, playtime, checkups, vaccinations, teeth cleaning, and, when sick, administering alternative medicines unless vet intervention is needed. We’re very attentive to our animals' needs, paying attention to body language while giving them lots of affection. Our reward is their unconditional love, comfort and, in some cases, healing. When sitting for friends we have always taken great care to make sure the animals, as well as their homes, are respected and well cared for.
