About this sitter
I live in Budapest, Hungary, with a small yellow dachshund named Csipi. I am a 38-year-old communications specialist. I started house sitting in the summer of 2024, and my first experience was a fantastic trip to Spain, where I took care of two wonderful dogs. House sitting provides me with the security and smart travel opportunities I seek, as it’s a responsible yet affordable way to explore the world, discover new places, cultures, and meet new people.
Why they want to house sit
I want to house sit because I consider myself responsible and adaptable enough to take care of other people's homes—after all, what could be more comfortable than a home? Goodbye noisy tourists, goodbye strange accommodations! I believe this is a more sustainable way of traveling, built on mutual trust, where you can form great relationships—eventually, you might feel like you know someone from every corner of the world :)

Five stars for First Sit!
I have given quite a few sitters over the years their first sit - there has to be a first time for everything right? Sarolta was such a sitter and I am very glad I took the chance on her. From our first video chat, she came across as friendly, smart and agreeable and when we met, she immediately fell in love with my two hounds. She has a small sausage dog herself in Budapest. She thoroughly enjoyed her very first sit, first time in Spain and the area around my home. She was clean, tidy and respectful and very attentive to the dogs and their needs - Presto having to take tablets can be quite fun and/or daunting! No hesitation in recommending her.
