Conscious couple looking to explore while starting an online business

About this sitter

Hello! We are Guy and Fiona. I am originally from America and my partner Guy grew up in Kent and Somerset. I travelled to the UK once or twice a year growing up as my family is from Somerset as well. I moved to London in the summer of 2022 and Guy and I met that Christmas. We are a loving and curious pair, eager to meet new people and discover new places together. We both love being out in nature - we could spend days in the forest or by the sea. We feel very lucky to be spending this life together and have dreams of eventually building a family on a piece of land that offers space for a community of creatives to live self-sufficiently. We are both interested in spirituality, psychology, permaculture, surfing, dancing and singing.

After a few years in the city, Guy and I are eager to explore different parts of the UK and Europe and live closer to nature. I am 28 and Guy is 34.

Why they want to house sit

Guy and I are entrepreneurs building online coaching businesses, both individual transformational coaching and joint relationship coaching. House sitting gives us the time we need to be intentional in creating the foundation of our businesses while inspiring us with the opportunity for new experiences. One often hears of authors who hide away in the countryside to start writing their first book and we feel our process is similar!

Their experience

I grew up helping to take care of three dogs (one golden retriever and two Portugese water dogs) and Guy with two (two border collies) as well as chickens, ducks, and rabbits. My experience caring for other people’s pets has been through childcare jobs. I have been a nanny for over a decade now and have taken care of many family pets over the years. We enjoy being out in the garden and getting our hands in the soil, so we are more than happy to keep up with any gardening jobs you may need done.

What can they bring to the assignment

We are both quiet, respectful, and clean. We have built a close-knit community of friends over the past few years who would describe us as caring and trustworthy. We both love being around animals and are inspired by their playful energy.
