PhD student that loves to spend time with pets and plants

About this sitter

Hello, everyone; I am a marine biologist, a passionate scientific diver, an ecology PhD student, and an animal lover. I study wildlife animal behaviour in the ocean while travelling the world. I have four rescued pets with my girlfriend: two cats and two dogs. My passion is the exploration of nature and the conservation of the environment. I like calisthenic and gym too.

Why they want to house sit

I travel a lot to explore habitats and ecosystems, looking for fascinating animals, studying them or just as a hobby. However, when I am abroad, I always miss my pets because they are a family and a lifestyle. Dogs encourage you to walk around the city, while cats help you to stay in the house just chilling. Also, we are mostly alone when one is abroad, so an animal company is a very good idea! I will be a great sitter because 1) I like to spend time with animals, 2) I have 4 pets, so I know how to handle different personalities and necessities, and 3) my mother is a very good vet, so if I notice something weird I can easily ask here. 4) I know how to drive and have a good physic if an emergency occurs. 5) and finally, I am a nice, peaceful and kind person, qualities that I would prefer to look for in a person who has to take care of my pets and my home.

Their experience

I am new on this webpage, so I don't have previous experiences abroad. However, I have four pets now and many indoor and outdoor plants. As a PhD student, I work at home, so I spend most of my day caring for multiple plants and pets. I have a garden with tomatoes, basils and other tasty plants, so I have experience with outside plants. One of my dogs ( the big one) has a reactive personality, so I know how to handle grumpy dogs when we go for a walk.
Finally, my girlfriend loves to rescue straight dogs and take care of them to finally look for possible people who want to adopt them responsibly. This means that I have experience caring for different types of breeds.
