Reliable and caring Aussie couple eager to house and pet sit!

About this sitter

Hello! Jack and Anna here. We are two Australian teachers who currently live in London. Our main hobbies after coming home after a long day of teaching include making elaborate dinners, watching films and falling asleep on the sofa with our flatmate's fluffy cat.

But on the holidays... we love to explore new places and cultures! We are eager to see as much of the UK, Ireland and Europe as we can. We are respectful, tidy, easy going and very friendly. House and pet sitting would be a real win-win situation as we could help you to care for your home and pets and we could explore your lovely corner of the world.

Why they want to house sit

We would love to care for your precious pets and would treat your home with respect. We recognise the trust placed in a house-sitter is paramount and we would be flexible, accommodating and communicative throughout our stay.

Since arriving in London, we have been sure to explore as much of the UK and Europe as our GBP will allow us! We have visited Edinburgh, Oxford, Marseilles, Paris and Amsterdam. We will be exploring Norway and Germany later this summer and are very keen to add more places to our list. House and pet sitting would allow us exciting opportunities to see cities and far-flung rural towns from the comfort of a real home, and with the company of your darling pets!

Their experience

Growing up, Anna had a naughty but nice Jack Russell Terrier and Jack had a sweet Schnauzer and later, a fuzzy farm dog. Anna lived with a friend's Border Collie x Husky x German Shepherd (pictured) and they were attached at the hip. We have looked after friends' dogs while they've travelled, and take good care of our flatmate's cat when they holiday. Jack's dad in Australia runs a large agricultural training farm at a school so Jack is comfortable with animals and a bit of hard work! Anna dreams of getting a dog, but while we are overseas, pet sitting would the next best thing. We would take care to follow any instructions you leave for us to ensure you feel comfortable and your house and pet are happy and safe.

What can they bring to the assignment

Jack and Anna are very organised, great communicators and very affectionate to animals. We would take your instructions seriously and keep you informed of how our stay is going. We are active and would walk pets as much as needed, bathing them if they are a fan of mud! We look forward to caring for your pets and home.
