About this sitter

I have autumns and winters off from work (I manage a small bike rental shop). I am looking to visit a beautiful place, and care for your home, garden and pets. I am a homebody with a passion for cooking, art, meditation, gardening and the outdoors. I love animals! I have lived with and been a dog and cat parent. I love giving lots of love and attention to animals and love going on long walks with dogs. I am looking for a relaxed sitting arrangement where I can take short excursions out and about to explore the area, getting a sense of what it is like to live there, with the company of your pets to make me feel at home. I have lots of happy house plants at home and can take care of your indoor and outdoor plants as well!

Why they want to house sit

I would love the chance to see another part of the world and create a calm and wonderful experience for pets who may be missing their people and might need some extra attention.

Their experience

I have house/dog sat for my friend and also house/dog sat for someone in my neighborhood a few years ago. I am tidy and very attentive and caring of animals and plants. I have been a preschool teacher and currently volunteer watching 2.5-4 year olds at a local Zen Center that I am a member of. I have been a dog parent to a siberian husky with a past partner for 3 and a half years and I grew up taking care of cats.

What can they bring to the assignment

I can bring a true sense of comfort to the pets, pet parents and home owners. I am a compassionate and empathetic person who has lots of experience caring for others. I am down to earth, fun and funny, and would keep your pets well entertained and comfortable with lots of exercise, snuggles and play.
