About this sitter

For the present moment as I am still working I am looking for from 10 days to one month sitting. thank you. I have just turned 65. I am an artist. I still work for my own contemporary dance company as artistic director, but I want to slow down and focus more on travel and meeting new people in different cities and countries. I have been travelling for most of my life often touring as a dancer and a choreographer. Now I want to do this for my own pleasure.

Why they want to house sit

As an artist I have limited income, so I am looking for something more affordable. I believe in the shared economy, I rent out my car ( Turo) I use bike share often, I used to airbnb my house, and I will choose this option first when I travel. But it is getting more expensive. I like to be of service and help people. I feel that there is a two way exchange here that will be satisfying for both parties, I will look after your house and your pets and at the same time I will save money.

Their experience

I have never house sat. I have been using airbnb since its very beginnings. I am a home owner. It's been 25 years now. I know what it is like to take care of a home.

What can they bring to the assignment

I have been an artistic director of a contemporary dance company for over 30 years. My company is a non profit, we have a board of directors. This is to say I am responsible for a fairly large budget of money as in Canada we receive public money to run our organization. This is to say I am very responsible. I have 2 young adult kids who live away from home and family is very important to me. So rest assured you will have someone reliable.
