About this sitter

We’re Claire and Simon, a warm and welcoming couple from the Southern Highlands of Australia, just 1.5 hours south of Sydney. At 32 years old, Claire is a textile designer and Simon is a film producer.

Our passions include art, film, travel, architecture and agriculture. In our free time, we love cooking, gardening (Simon grew up helping his dad, a landscaper, so your plants will be in good hands!), painting, walking/hiking, playing tennis and caring for our family & friends animals.

The perfect housesit experience for us is a welcoming space where we can feel at home. We would like to connect with your pets, ensuring they receive plenty of love and attention. Ideally, we would love to housesit at a new location that allows us to explore Italy beyond the usual tourist spots.

Why they want to house sit

In 2025, we’re excited to embark on a sabbatical trip to Europe, where we plan to travel, work remotely, learn the language, and embrace new experiences before starting our family.

For the past 10 years, Simon and I have house/pet sat a few times a year.
Plus we both have grown up loving a variety of pets.
