Hands-on, mature and reliable, seeking nature and responsibilities for medium or long term term stay

About this sitter

a headmaster of international schools, I have lived and worked around the world. I am taking a sabbatical of one or two years, and I am looking for assignments which will provide me with peace, nature and responsibilities whilst I work to finish several books which I have in progress. I am single, no pets, no children, but have a car. Partying and socialising are not on my list, and ideal assignments would provide something of a retreat.

Why they want to house sit

I am looking for a location which is quiet, ideally peaceful in nature. I would welcome additional responsibilities which ensure I am active and engaged with more than my writing.

Their experience

Am I experienced? At this stage, I have no previous placement with MindMyHouse. I have previously provided house sitting for friends and family, and I am used to taking care of houses in host countries, but on a rental basis. It is worth noting, as Head of School, the property condition and my standards must, under such circumstances, be exemplary, as I am often well-known in the community around schools.

What can they bring to the assignment

Firstly, I am responsible and mature.
I would welcome looking after pets, farm animals, but find cats more challenging due to low-level allergy.
I can also offer experience and willing for basic maintenance, gardening, repairs and perhaps painting too.
