Hi there! I’m a professional boat captain and marine engineer with a master’s in sustainability and a background in biology. I love nature, animals, new experiences, and exploring the world around me.

I thrive on adventure and enjoy motorbiking and sailing, but I also love my down time. I own a beautiful home on Vancouver Island in Nanaimo, BC, but I'm currently developing a business idea and seeking housesitting opportunities to gain fresh perspectives and inspiration.

Why they want to house sit

I am looking for a change of scenery and opportunities to expose myself to new ideas and inspiration. I'm feeling a little stagnant at home as I work on a creative business idea. Looking to shake things up a bit and enjoy some time somewhere new, interesting, and inspirational.

Their experience

I spent 6 years as a full-time housesitter in many different places and types of arrangements. I'm happy to have my own home now, but I enjoyed the experience very much.

What can they bring to the assignment

I've been a homeowner since I was 25 years old (21 years). I've always done all my own work on my houses and I've learned a lot about home ownership in that time. I'm confident in my ability to take very good care of a home and treat it as such. I'm diligent by my nature, and I notice things that might otherwise get missed. Most importantly, I care about doing a good job, and I bring a lot of heart and respect to everything I do.
