About this sitter
We are two retired engineers who have one year ago moved from US to Spain with our four felines. Irena used to own a pet-sitting business House and Pet Services, Inc. between 2006 and 2010. We have always volunteered in local animal rescue organizations, spay & neuter clinics, fed feral cat colonies and fostered numerous cats and dogs in our home in Durham, NC.
We are vegetarians and do not smoke.
We love to care for animals, and we love to meet new people and see new places. House sitting is a perfect combination!
Why they want to house sit
We love animals. We will make your pets comfortable during your absence, giving them love and attention and care for your house while also exploring the surrounding areas and the local culture.
We are an active couple who will make sure the pets get enough exercise and the house and garden is well taken care of.
Their experience
We are quite experienced: Irena owned her own pet sitting business for four years, we owned several cats and dogs who needed many medications and/or behavioral training.
We also have a large vegetable and ornamental garden by our house in Durham, so taking care of plants and lawn is something we do very well.
As two engineers, we can fix things as well.
We will keep your home tidy and clean.

Profound love and understanding of animals, love for a clean house and a beautiful garden!
We will send regular updates, pictures and videos of their pets and home. Upon return, the owner will find at home a diary of our adventures with their pets.
