About this sitter
Hi, we are Guido (60) and Sabine (64). We love all kind of animals and we like to travel. We don't smoke. We are responsible and clean.
We love hiking, swimming and cycling.
Why they want to house sit
Since this jear, we are pensioners and travel through Europe with our motorhome. But sometimes, we want to stay on one place for longer. To get to know people and delve deeper into the country's culture. We would like to look after dogs, because we missed Don our german shepe,who died last year. But also cats or other pets and keep your house clean and safe.
Their experience
We always had cats and dogs of our own. This year we were the first time volonteers on a farm in Austria to look after geese. Four years ago Sabine helped on a farm in Danmark. In 2024 we care for two lovely dogs and three cute cats in Sicili and took care for the house and the garden.
What can they bring to the assignment
We have Relibility, sense of responsibility, keep your house clean, look for your garden. Guido is able to repair things, because he worked many years as a craftsman. We have a lot of experience with cats and dogs.

The Best amazing pets sitters you can dream of
We were incredibly lucky to have Sabine and Guido take care of our beloved furry family (2 dogs and 3 cats) and two homes for two months over the winter (from November 22 to January 21), and we couldn’t have asked for better pets & house sitters. From the very beginning, they proved to be mature, responsible, and highly reliable. They are calm, trustworthy, and proactive, which made us feel completely at ease leaving both our beloved pets and home in their hands. Their understanding and sensitivity towards animals are evident: they knew exactly when to give them space and when to show affection, always respecting their emotional well-being. Our male dog, Pachino, can be a bit particular, but with them, it was love at first sight! They took exceptional care of all our pets, ensuring that the dogs had their two daily walks—on foot or by car—and even taking them on excursions. They truly dedicated themselves to them with care and love. Communication with us was also excellent, and we loved receiving daily photos, videos, and special digital edits of our pets. This gave us total peace of mind throughout the two months we were away. Sabine and Guido are attentive, considerate, and respectful people. They have a great savoir-faire and a natural understanding of both animals and humans. They are calm, easygoing, and, most importantly, have great common sense, which is essential when unexpected situations arise—like when one of our cats got sick. Beyond that, they showed great initiative and problem-solving skills. During heavy storms, they took it upon themselves to repair fallen fences and secure the house by sealing doors and windows to prevent further water leaks. We never had to worry about a thing because they were always one step ahead. They took great care of the small daily maintenance tasks required in winter (like airing out the rooms to control humidity), but they went above and beyond: they fixed part of a poorly built roof, cut down a fallen tree, repaired cement on a terrace, and kept the garden well-maintained, clearing out leaves and fallen fruit. Not only did they take exceptional care of our pets (who absolutely adore them!), but they also took great care of our home. It was amazing to come back after two months and find it spotless and in perfect condition. And what can we say about the delicious homemade jams Sabine made with fruit from the garden… simply incredible! We wholeheartedly recommend Sabine and Guido to anyone looking for outstanding pets and house sitters. We would love to have them back next year—fingers crossed! A huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
