Experienced house-/petsitter, looking for pets to (walk), cuddle and love, while working from ‘home’

About this sitter

Growing up in a household filled with animals, I embarked on my first pet-sitting adventure right after turning eighteen. Since that time, I've cared for various animals, mostly within my neighborhood, occasionally while on holiday. At the moment, I find myself without pets, so I’m looking for some furry friends to cuddle and care for.

Why they want to house sit

Now semi-retired, I remain engaged with various projects. With my laptop and a reliable WIFI connection, I can work from anywhere while pampering your pets and enjoying their company.

Ideally, I'm looking for house-pet sits that last a month or longer, allowing me to form a bond with the animals.
Additionally, I cherish the opportunity to live like a local in different corners of the world and collect unique stories, an ideal combination with pet and house-sitting.

Their experience

In the last few years I’ve worked as a trainer (digital skills), but in the past I’ve also earned my living in tourism. While managing a guesthouse in Zimbabwe, I had the pleasure of looking after not only guests and children but also a lively mix of animals, including dogs, cats, a piglet, and guinea fowls. Beyond my professional work, I've always dedicated time to volunteering for several organizations, including an animal shelter, where I gained valuable insights into dog behavior.

Ellis is a very kind person, who loves dogs, being outdoors and walking with the dog. If you let Ellis take care of you dog, you are able to have a carefree holiday, while your dog will also have a good time.
