Well experienced house sitter looking for a home and pets to love, if only temporarily!

About this sitter

Hi all! I've been a member of Trusted Housesitters for years, sitting in half a dozen countries around the world. I work at an international school in Vietnam, so I'm looking for an experience udring our breaks, including our long summer holiday. I'm happy to travel solely based on a sit and the surrounding area.

Why they want to house sit

The idea housesit would include a good dog, a companionable cat, a garden to tend, and access to a town or city. Any combination of those elements would suit! I have experience with large animals and chickens, so absolutely would not hesitate to look at a rural housesit as well. I love quiet, I read a lot, might attend a symphony performance given the chance, go out to a museum... but if the sit is countryside, I'm very happy with pets and chores and books.

Their experience

I have lots of experience, both with THS and independently. I would be happy to share my reviews from the other site. I can care for a large house, in any weather, am self-sufficient, highly capable, strong, and comfortable being alone. Not just houses and wide open spaces! I've had lovely sits in urban apartments as well. If you have any questions about my abilities, please ask. I'll share reviews and we can talk further about my capabilities.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am a very clean, quiet, mature person. I almost always travel alone but will occasionally have a sister joining me, with your permission. I am an older person, a librarian by profession and nature, and like a clean, peaceful space. I will care for your home, your pets, your garden, and your space. I don't host gatherings, I don't go out at night (unless its to a symphony performance), I leave the place clean and the pets happy.
