About this sitter

Hello we are Azra (from Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Mia (from the U.S.) - we live in Mostar, in Bosnia & Herzegovina. We both are animal lovers and have had many pets in the past. Currently we don't have any pets (though we will adopt a dog someday soon) - in the meantime we are traveling and caring for others' pets! Thank you for welcoming us into your home and trusting us with your beloved animals!

Why they want to house sit

We both work in the healing arts/wellness industry, and are very fortunate to have remote work which allows us the flexibility to travel. We love all animals, but we are most experienced with dogs and cats, including animals with behavioral issues, unique medical needs, and other challenges. We really enjoy getting to explore different cultures and geography of our continent, Europe, as well as the world.

Their experience

Yes, over many years we both have had jobs that involve caring for dogs, cats, and other small mammals, whether specifically pet sitting jobs or nanny jobs for families with children and pets that we were responsible for day-to-day, as well as sometimes overnight. We understand that each animal has a specific personality and unique needs. We are both extremely empathic people, and animals tend to love us because of our relaxed energy. Generally we are happy, at ease, and do a lot to take care of our well-being - and animals pick up on this energy. We meet animals where they are, recognizing that some need more calm while others need action, some need a lot of attention while others need space, etc. We can handle the responsibilities of ensuring your pet's day-to-day routine remains in tact while you are away, creating as little disruption as possible.
