I’m a Retired professional educator- meticulous and respectful of the homes of others .

I’m neat and and tidy and take regular walks outside all seasons. I enjoy meeting people .and live animals.

I would like a somewhat quiet location- clear instructions from the pet owners . Ans it would be nice to explore new areas in USA & Canada .

Why they want to house sit

I really love all kinds of animals and like to see different places both in USA and Canada .

I have an excellent pet sitter and would like to combine caring for pets and viewing different places .

Their experience

Yes I have pet sites both cats and dogs.

I’m a retired High School Counsellor 17 yrs / Teacher of 15yrs and understand animals and their feelings.
They are all different and I feel I’m sensitive to their feelings/ moods and dispositions
I like to play with dogs & cats too .

What can they bring to the assignment

Past experience of pet sitting-helps a lot.
Also I was pet sitting a new friends rescue dog for a few days . He was upset/ bothered the 1st night the owner was away. I knew the border collie needed time to adjust so I kept a respectful distance. Then next day he was back to his normal self. I knew this intuitively. Children and teens are similar in some situations.

My work experience with children & teens from ages of Gr.4 -12 has sharpened my intuitive skills !
Lately I have used mind images pictures to communicate with my cat - to let her know she’s going to my pet sitter !
She reacts better as she is prepared - yes really !
