* Hi, I'm Glen and new on MMH (previously THS)

I’m an experienced and responsible pet and house sitter who loves taking care of both your pets and your home while you're away (don't hesitate to ask for reference if I've not posted any yet).

I spend summers in Germany and Denmark usually.

I'm retired, Spain based and open to sits around Europe mainly. I'm a ceramic artist and painter, I love being in nature and walking/exploring. I especially thrive on new cultures and surroundings (I'm sitting in beautiful Kerala India as I write this).

I’ve always been an animal and nature lover (your dogs will get many walks if he/she wants!) I enjoy the opportunity to meet new pets and give them the care they need. Pet sitting allows me to help pet owners feel at ease while they’re away, knowing that their furry friends are in safe, loving hands.

I grew up with and am comfortable with animals of all types.

I am neat and tidy in my house and would treat, and respect, your home and pets in the same way. A house/pet sit should be a win win for both sitter and owner so I feel establishing a 'good fit' before via a video conversation is a great way to connect in the early stages.

Why they want to house sit

I LOVE change and being in new environments. I've been a nomad all my life and have been privileged to have had that possibility since an early age through my nomadic father and family. I've always loved animals so if they come with a house sit then that's a bonus. Pet and home sitting gives me the opportunity to expand my horizon.

I've house and pet sat both professionally and privately for many years. Mostly dogs, cats and smaller critters but I have had some experience with horses also.

I’m familiar with different pet needs, including administering medications or special care routines. I've built and/or bought several of my own homes and am very house proud so would care for your home as though it was my own.

I am detail-oriented and will ensure that your home stays safe and secure while you’re away. I’ll take care of tasks like collecting mail, watering plants, taking out the trash, and keeping everything tidy.

What can they bring to the assignment

All the things that a home owner would expect and want - reliability, trust/honesty, cleanliness, follow routines, stay in regular touch, and so on.

I understand that pets are family, and I treat them with the same love and care I would give my own. Whether it’s playing with your dog, feeding your cat, or ensuring your hamster's cage is clean, your pets are in good hands.

As I've just rejoined MMH after several years (also previously THS) I'm waiting for references to come through so please ask me if I've not uploaded any yet.
