About this sitter

Hello, we are Isabella and Rufus, a responsible and animal-loving couple from Australia, currently living in Italy. We have both grown up with pets, including cats, dogs, chickens, ducks and a tortoise, giving us a deep love and appreciation for pets. Our pets truly are members of our family. We also have plently of experience caring for gardens and house plants. We are active and enjoy going on hikes.
We are open to all kinds of housesitting opportunities, we would like to immerse ourselves in the local area, city, rural, country, costal, you name it! We love spending time with animals, so homes with cats, dogs, or other pets are ideal.

Why they want to house sit

As travel enthusiasts, living in Italy has made exploring Europe much more accessible. However, our current lifestyle means we can't have pets of our own, and we are desperately missing having an animal companion.
We’re looking for house-sitting opportunities that allow us to experience new places while providing love and care to your furry (or feathered!) family members. You can count on us to treat your home and pets with the utmost respect, love and care.

Their experience

We have house-sitting experience in seven different homes and always leave the house clean and as we found it. Two families have invited back quite a few times to care for their pets and home.

Pets we have cared for whilst housesitting:
- Two indoor/outdoor cats and a young Frenchel dog.
- Two dogs, one was an elderly dog that required a special diet.
- Two young Cavoodle dogs and fish.
- Two Cavalier dogs.
- An indoor cat.
- A Dalmatian that needed plenty of exercise and enrichment.
We’ve also completed a house sit without pets, where we maintained the garden and managed mail.
