Professional mature lady on vacation seeks house sitting as a means to extend time for writing.

About this sitter

Currently, I live in Green Valley, AZ. We are having some major home renovations done so I decided to travel to S. California to visit my two best friends of 40+ years. They both work in public schools full-time. I am in the midst of writing a book and love the time it's given me to pursue this creative avenue.
Since I'm on an extended vacation, I thought it might be interesting to be able to experience some new adventures and get to help others by helping with their pets as I am an EXTREME pet lover. I grew up on a farm and have extended experience with all types of animals.
One of my best friends here has 2 dogs and 4 cats so I am thrilled to be able to help with these lovely family members! *Jammer is one of the dogs- such a sweet rescue!

Why they want to house sit

As I stated, I am an artist, (the painting in one of the pictures is one I'm currently working on), and writer so being alone is really ideal. I am hoping that by house sitting I can extend my sabbatical for a good long time. I've house sat for friends and relatives many times and always enjoyed the opportunity to let my creative juices flow while overseeing someone's beloved pets and home.

Their experience

I turned 52 on St. Patrick's day so with this many years I certainly am experienced! I am an artist, 30+ year award winning mixologist, bar/restaurant consultant, manager, caterer, professional deep house cleaner and organizer, personal assistant and estate sale expert. I began taking photos at 14 and haven't stopped. The photo of the couple with their dog is from a family portrait session I did last month.
I love taking wildlife photos as well. The bobcat photo I snapped from my backyard in December.

What can they bring to the assignment

Fifty-two years of creative professionalism. I resigned from my job as housekeeper in beautiful north Idaho in a multi-million dollar home before liquidating my entire estate to move to Arizona in November. It was a job I loved! I find great satisfaction in creating a clean and organized domain.
I have no real limitations currently, having become an extreme minimalist. I can come and go as I please! Which makes me a great candidate to housesit.
My love of animals knows no bounds and truly believe they enhance our lives beyond measure.
Some folks have a green thumb but I describe mine as an emerald thumb! If it grows I can definitely cultivate it.
Being a mature lady helps me to have patience and in a world that requires a lot, I think it helps me to really thrive.
That said, I'm mature but I pride myself upon being very fit and I have been described as sturdy and strong. I'm very proud of that!
Also, I might add that given my lack of schedule, I can certainly be open to any country- my passport is locked and loaded!
