Allow us to come give belly rubs, cuddles and walks to your beloved fur babies while keeping your home neat and tidy. We are Clyde and Terry, American retiree's, currently living fulltime in Portugal, who have travelled the world while making new friends, both the furry and the human kind along the way. Clyde is a true caregiver who served the public as a career firefighter and paramedic in Texas for 30 years. Terry, a freelance travel writer loves to keep her temporary home clean, ensuring that you will return to a clean house and happy pets. We are both animal lovers, non-smokers, vegetarians who enjoy keeping active, cooking at home and enjoying life.

We have lived abroad since 2011, spending 5 years in Panama, travelling fulltime for 2 years as house and pet sitters internationally, and now we have lived in Portugal for 7 years. While English is our first language we can communicate in European Portuguese and Spanish.

As a former paramedic Clyde is comfortable administering medication to animals or dealing with wound care, should the need arise. We both love walking the dogs, cuddling with dogs and cats, and keeping them well fed and happy while you are away on holiday.

If you choose us as your sitters your pets will barely even notice that you were gone. You will return home to happy pets and a clean home.

Why they want to house sit

Since we love to travel we no longer have animals of our own. House sitting allows us to get our animal fix, as we cuddle with, care for, give belly rubs, food, treats and walks to yours. By living in your home we get to experience the area as locals by shopping in local markets, exploring neighborhoods and getting a true flavor of the location.
