About this sitter
Wendy and Alan, an energetic couple, retired in our mid 60s.
We are multi-talented providing in-home and maintenance care.
Premium care for pets for those who must be away from their furry family members for extended periods of time.
Why they want to house sit
We have the time, energy and interest in providing the very best services for those who must be away for longer periods of time, depending on the location of the home.
To meet new people, learn different cultures, experience it all. Alan has his international drivers license.

We have owned, maintained and renovated all of our previous homes including our present home.
Have had pets for most of our lives and can provide yours with the same care and attention that we gave to ours.
Birds, (African Grey - Switzerland and Santa Fe, NM) fish, (NM) dogs (Portugal and USA) and cats USA, Spain, Canada). To name a few of our past sits. Can administer injections and pills for all animals.

Alan is an electrician and general handy man, he is experienced with birds and Wendy was a interior decorator/ business administrator and lover of plants and pets, especially cats.

Wendy & Alan, Excellent Housitters
This was the first time we considered having house sitters to look after our pet African Grey Parrot and our home. After meeting Wendy and Alan, we felt comfortable leaving our pet and home in their care for the 3 month long period over the winter. We were right about our initial decision and both Wendy and Alan were outstanding in how they interacted with our bird, and how well they looked after our house. We can not say enough good things about them, and we would have them sit our house again any time. Through this experience, we have become friends, and look forward to having them over for a barbeque this summer once the temperatures warm up. Team Wendy & Alan
We were very fortunate to have Wendy & Alan housesit our cat (Sammy) and look after our rental properties and guests fromNovember10th 2017 to January 11th 2018 We spent a couple of days with Wendy & Alan going through all the needs of Sammy and the general running of things, including attending our large mature garden. We were able to go away quite relaxed and comfortable knowing that everything including Sammy, our cat, and any crisis that may have arisen was in good capable and practical hands. This proved to be absolutely spot on, Wendy maintained our main house and guest cottages in immaculate condition and also kept us informed of Sammy’s welfare. Alan proved very practical and tended to the electricity and plumbing needs of our somewhat quirky old farmhouse! They did not need any effort at all looking after Sammy, as Wendy is natural animal lover and it was comforting to know that they, not only fed Sammy, but actually cared for him as we did. Unfortunately Sammy was taken seriously ill and Wendy had informed us very early on about his condition. On taking him to the vet they called us with the news that Sammy had a tumor and the vet recommended that he put Sammy to sleep. Our thanks go to Wendy and Alan for minimizing Sammy’s suffering. Very capable couple!
Wendy and Alan sat for us for about six weeks. They cared for our three cats and African grey parrot plus the house and property. Wendy really went all out with our older kitty with special needs and Alan understands how things work and I bet he can fix most anything! All in all terrific people, caring, personable, communicative and capable! We would ask them to sit for us any time they are willing. I hope that we get to see them again!

Brilliant
Wendy and Alan were fantastic at looking after our very old dog and they also kept up the gardening and maintaned our very large property billiantly. We would recommend them to anyone wanting nice, charming, hardworking people to look after you home and animals.
