About this assignment
I have one small rescue dog and am looking for someone who enjoys dogs and knows how to care for them. Someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and can keep me posted via email or texts about how things are going.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
My dog Moon does not need walking as she is too afraid to go out in the street. She does have a dog door and access to a large back yard. She needs to be fed 2x/day. The house sitter needs to water 3 indoor plants and keep an eye on the garden and collect the mail.
What are the good features of the property and location
Gerstle Park is a charming, tree-lined neighborhood in San Rafael. The house is located within walking distance of downtown San Rafael so you are close to bookstores, great cafes and restaurants, a fabulous movie theater. At the same time, the house is quiet and peaceful has a big back yard. Internet connection provided.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
It is important that you are comfortable caring for pets, clean and responsible. I prefer to be updated on how things are going via email or texts while I prefer my housesitters not be away from the house for more than 6 hours at a spell. Thanks!

Two small affectionate dogs
This was a wonderful house sit for Cat & me We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood while walking Grover and Lily (who are truly delightful dogs!) Most of the nearby homes are traditionally designed and beautifully set into a mature landscape with lots of shade trees. There are parks within easy walking distance and the house is located close to downtown San Rafael. Nina's home is beautiful and equipped with everything you'd need.
