About this assignment
We are looking for a responsible, cat loving non smoker who will appreciate and look after our pets and property. We are happy with a single person or a couple.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feed the 2 cats morning and evening. Service pool if necessary, water plants in pots and garden if required and generally keep house clean and tidy.
What are the good features of the property and location
Comfortable house with swimming pool in small town with access to all amenities. You can walk to shops and train station. Close to the Canal du Midi, Carcassonne and Castelnaudary are 15km away. Use of 2 bicycles, if wanted.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
A potential house sitter would need to be prepared to arrive the day before our departure so we can introduce them to our cats as well as the various things that might need doing in the house and garden.

We met the afternoon before they leaving, they explained how everything worked and what Lola and Katter would need they are easy to loo alter ,The house is well located near the local shops, and also to the railway station to visit other towns. the canal du Midi is near to the village, is a nice route on foot or by bike. Such a Positive Experience
This was my first assignment on Mind My House and I am fortunate to say that it was a wonderful experience. I arrived a day early so Eva and Rick could fill me in on house details, how to feed & care for their cats, etc. From the onset, I was warmly welcomed into their home and they made sure I felt comfortable. Their cats were such a joy! I loved settling in for the evening and having one of them curl up in my lap. Their home is an easy walk to the rail station and the village, so I had no need of a vehicle. Communication was easy and responsive. I will carry fond memories of getting to know Eva & Rick a little and trusting me to look after things.

Great people, home and pets!
It was a pleasure to meet Eva and Rick and to stay in their lovely house. From the outset, they were welcoming, considerate and generous, providing a lovely meal and great conversation on our first evening. They explained clearly how everything worked, and what their two cats would need. Actually, the Lola and Kater are easy to look after, good company, and both of them unique characters. The house is also well located – easy to get to the local shops, and also just a short walk to the railway station to visit other towns like Carcassonne and Perignon. Bram itself is also a charming and unique village. So all in all it was a great and very pleasant experience.

Great host, great house and great cats!
Super hosts: Eva and Rick was incredibly kind and friendly with us. The house is awesome and everything was arranged to be comfortable. They encourage us to enjoy all the comforts in their relaxing house, included the wide garden and the pool. They left food and everything we could need, and they kindly allow us to pick cherries, strawberries, lettuce etc from the garden. Taking care of Lola and Kater was a pleasure and very easy, as they are quiet, indipendent cats and appreciate cuddles. Eva and Rick left us clear instructions about what to do for the cats and house. Furthermore we spent a pleasant evening with them, so they explained and showed us everything.

Great house great owners
Delightful house to stay in. Owners gave clear and full instructions. Welcoming and sensible. Pets no trouble at all. Produce of the garden was a real bonus, we have seldom eaten so healthily for so long!
