About this assignment
.Responsible honest caring dog lover. Chico is easy. He just want to be with you.he likes walks on the beach and boardwalk and thru town.He'll stop to say hello to everyone. He's friendly and well liked around town.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Keep the house clean. I do shoes off as it gets very sandy inside if you dont.Take care of my sweet dog. Always have water with you. He will cool off in the oceaan. When you return its best to shower him to get all the salt and sand off.Thats it. I expect the house to be as clean as it was when I left. My dog is very friendly and will show you the beach walks and town walks.lots of services near by all walking restaurants clubs cafes etc. But if you want to explore a car is necessary. Chico my dog loves to travel and be with you. He gets all day walks with me as we go everywhere together.but minimum 3 a day.needs morning walk and evening walk for necessary pee and poop.inbetween he just wants to be with YOU.
HE IS EXCELLENT AT MEETING PEOPLE.. You can take him to restaurants and cafes here if tables are outside. It gets hot and crowded in summer so never go out without water for chico. And treats . Minimum 3 walks a day. They will be as long as he wants.Hes 12 so not so long.
What are the good features of the property and location
Directly on the beach and sea view. Fabulous town with lots of restaurants cafes shopping and of course the beach 10 meters in front of my place
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Just be able to love and care for a small dog. He will win your heart!
You will need to come a day before to get aquainted with the house and Chico
I need a responsible person or couple reliable and honest. I will check references . I have internet and TV. Best arrive a day before. I ts a 1 bedroom with sofa bed. If u come a day before,I'll take the sofa. The bed will be ready for your arrival.

Thanks Brenda for letting us look after and be looked after by your cool little dog Chico. We completely fell in love with him and had the best month. It was great fun meeting you and becoming friends. You instilled us with a lot of confidence with Chico and we had such a blast taking him on short holidays all around Italy with us and when back in Torino, having him as our tour guide. It was an unforgettable experience for us and we miss Chico to this very day :)

Torino and Chico
Torino is such a beautiful city and Chico was my guide to lots of beautiful places there. He is a delightful little guy and a pleasure to care for. Brenda supplied lots of information about Chico and great city walks and places to visit, even arranging for a friend to take me to a wine tasting in the countryside. The apartment in very central, close to the beautiful Piazza Vittorio Veneto and within walking distance to many city sites that Chico and I explored together.

Wonderful host, gorgeous dog, amazing housesit!
We were so lucky to spend an amazing month in Turin (Torino) Italy looking after gorgeous Chico. We formed instant friends with Brenda who is so welcoming, generous, fun and a fellow lover of animals, travelling & adventure. Brenda was well organised & showed us around Turin on our first day. She cooked us the most delicious vegan food with Italian wine! Brenda thoughtfully arranged for a friend to take us on a wine day & continually sent us details of events in Turin. The apartment is comfortable & in the perfect position for exploring Turin. We walked everywhere in Turin & there are many other places only an easy train ride away. Turin has so many museums, beautiful architecture & the most delicious cheap food & wine. Who could not fall in love with Chico? He is so easy to look after & get attached to - we miss him so much! We thoroughly enjoyed his company on all our adventures. We will definitely keep in contact with our new friends from Italy! We feel so fortunate to have experienced such a wonderful house/petsit.

What a lovely dog!
Staying at brenda's place was really cool. She lives in Turin's very center and the dog is just sooo funny and friendly, the dog I would choose for me. All was nice, Branda is really a wonderful person and all went super fine.. if you can go there!

Wonderful woman and a very cute dog!
We are so glad that we had the opportunity to stay with Brenda longer than we expected to be able to know each other better and become friends. Anyone would be lucky to get to know Brenda and to spend time with her very amusing dog Chico (although I do hope that the next time she needs a pet-sitter that would be us;). Chico is the easiest dog to care for. He'd be happy to sleep with you if you allow him to and he adores belly-rubbing:) In Italy you can go with a dog anywhere and you never have to worry, because Chico knows how to behave and everybody just loves him. We miss you guys very much already and are looking forward to seeing you soon, in Torino, or any other place on the globe!
