About this assignment
I am looking for a mature, calm person to take care of our animals on the farm. We have 2 horses, 2 cats and a dog.
You will be staying in a small casita with a pool, all amenities indoors.
Only suitable for solo travelers.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feeding the animals and ensuring they have fresh water at all times, keeping stables clean, cuddles and play-time with Kiwi the dog, regular hoof/body care of the horses, watering plants, keeping the house tidy.
What are the good features of the property and location
Our finca is a haven of peace. In the middle of the island close to Inca and only 30 minutes to some beautiful beaches. Walking distance from the village.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
(1) Experience with horses is a must
(2) Preference goes to a person who enjoys being home or works from home as my dog is not used to being left alone for long periods of time
(3) This is a farm in a small village, not a tourist spot
(4) If you charge for your services, please abstain from applying

Adorable dogs in a wonderful setting.
I spent two weeks taking care of Griet’s delightful dogs in her lovely home. It was beautiful experience because all of the dogs are so cute and affectionate! All of them are unique and very lovable characters. It would have been difficult not to have enjoyed this house sitting experience! The house is clean and comfortable and very welcoming....set in a beautiful location with awesome views. It is tranquil and yet only a very short walk to the pretty town. On a practical side, everything was ‘spot on’... reliable, good WiFi... washing machine and dishwasher.... hot shower....and a super comfortable bed! Communication with Griet was great from the onset and it has also been a bonus to get to know this lovely and interesting person. All instructions were made very clear and my questions during the stay were answered quickly and precisely. It was an absolute pleasure to spend time with these wonderful dogs and I would certainly wish to return time and time again!

Amazing Dogs&beautiful surroundings
Griet made me very welcome to her home and four dogs,due to my travel times I spent a few days with Griet and her pack,which was invaluable to my stay. All four dogs have great personalities,Beres,Kiwi&Bonita, do like to play fight! Mucca the eldest such a gentle soul needs some help with her eating,and of course,lots of cuddles should be provided. I throughly enjoyed my stay in such beautiful surroundings,with amazing happy dogs. Griet had left me an instruction manual for everything! Which was great,and I had met her neighbours,if I needed anything. I felt very safe& comfortable being in charge for the few weeks.

I throughly enjoyed looking after Griet 's doggies this Summer,all wonderful personalities,Mucca the eldest needed a little extra help with her meal times,she is an old girl! The younger dogs loved playing games in the large garden,and enjoyed cuddles in the evening,they will try they're hardest puppy eyes to join you on the sofa,they know it's not allowed! Very cheeky! A lovely Spanish house,with a welcome swimming pool in the mountains with great dogs,a very relaxed sit. Sent regular updates&pics to Griet,and she had left lots of information about each dog,medication,mealtimes etc.
