About this assignment
My apologies to all the excellent single house sitters out there but as we have two dogs we are looking for two people, a couple, two friends whatever. The main reason is that the dogs are different, and among other things they walk at very different speeds.
We need kind responsible people who like animals to look after our apartment and two dogs plus watering my plants. Logan is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier aged 8 he is very friendly loves people and needs company. However he is not overly difficult to look after once his basic needs are met. He sleeps a lot but is also willing to go for as many walks as you like. Trufa is a 6 year old black Chow and is spayed. She likes to play and go for walks but is easy to look after at home. She must have daily medication, this is just pills and she takes them every day hidden in cheese.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Walk, feed, and care for my dogs. Take them for walks in the Turia park or to cafes you may visit. Call and attend the vet if necessary. Water the plants, collect the mail and keep our home tidy.
What are the good features of the property and location
Our apartment is in valencia city. You will have your own bedroom and complete use of our home. It has a large kitchen, and livingroom plus a terrace with chairs at the back. House details on application.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
You will need to walk feed and cuddle Logan and Trufa who both who love people and food (not necessarily in that order). They are walked three times a day, but this can vary and they will sit quietly under a cafe table when required. My plants will need watering.

Such a nice house sit in Valencia
We were at Steve and Taryna's from late August to early September in 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We were given such precise instructions on feeding the dogs and keeping them happy. The dogs were so friendly and easy to look after and so very lovable! We kept in contact with Taryna regularly and had a good time in Valencia. Their cozy, spacious apartment was in a very nice, peaceful neighbourhood close to the parks, where we could take the lovely dogs for walks. The historic old town was also quite close and we visited many museums and galleries in the city. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house sit and would certainly love to house sit for them again sometime in the future.

We very much appreciated the responsibility placed on us in caring for Mr. Logan, A Staffie And Ms Trufa A Chow.What wonderful loving dogs and the home Taryna and Steve have made for these rescue dogs is a credit to the both of them. Taryna and Steve made us very welcome in their beautiful Valencia Apartment a stones throw from the Old City, a wonderful location and interesting and friendly neighbourhood . Memorable house sit with Logan and Trufa
We were at Steve and Taryna's in November and we are so happy that they chose us for this assignment. We have sweet memories of our wards, Logan and Trufa, and we are so in love. Logan is a gentle soul and adores humans. He is a staffy and now we know why they are called nanny dogs. He is absolutely sweet with people and other dogs. He loves to play and if he finds a stick, he is super content. It's not very hard to fall in love with Logan. Trufa is a Sharpei mix and a new addition to the family. Taryna and Steve have given her love and attention to make sure she feels a part of their family. She is so cute but one has to be gently firm with her. She loves long walks in the dog park and is extremely good with humans. She loves to be around humans all the time. Taryna and Steve gave us excellent information on their care, things to do in Valencia etc. and were always available when we needed them. They took us for dinner on the first night and we loved the conversation. They are both wonderful people and extremely generous. Their home is like a beautiful museum with amazing artwork and it is right next to the city center. We would love to house sit for Taryna and Steve anytime in the future and hope to see them soon in our place in Portugal. Thank you guys, for choosing us. We miss Logan and Trufa a lot!

What a nice experience!!
Taryna and Steve are a nice and easygoing couple who welcomed us with an invitation to dinner and a nice chat. They provided very precise details about feeding and caring for their pets and always kept in contact during our stay. Their cozy apartment in Valencia is surrounded by parks and very close to the Historic Center. Logan and Tiger (also known in our hearts as Choncho & Rechoncho) are two lovely boys who liked to hang out with us all the time. They joined us in the kitchen as we prepared our food, sat with us on the couch, and even slept in our bedroom every night. Without a doubt, they were excellent company during the 9 days we were there. We highly recommend them and hope to visit them soon!!

Super boys
We spent 2 weeks staying with Logan and tigre while mum and dad spent some time away.. The boys were a pleasure to spend time with, they took is put regularly and they both knew their preferred routes. It was a pleasure to meet Taryna and Steve and they are very charming and caring people. Their beautiful apartment is very well situated a minute's walk from the Turia, river. We would be very happy to take care of the boys again if required, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
