About this assignment
Someone who will give Marble, Tabi, Smokey and Soki their full attention and love and treat them like they are their own pets. Also someone who is very clean and tidy and will respect the house. Must be experienced and have references.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Looking after our 4 cats, they have different routines so need to be switched on. 1 indoor cat and the other 3 are outdoor cats so need to be let out and bought back in for dinner. cleaning the kitty litters once a day, feeding twice a day. The indoor cat needs to be taken on a walk once a day (with lead and collar - its very cute and she's well trained). They are soo adorable and love to play so play sessions are important. You will also have to feed the stray cats in the neighbourhood once a day.
What are the good features of the property and location
In Saronida, only a 45 minute drive to Athens city center, 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach. Bus station to the city is close by. Supermarkets, farmers markets, doctors, resturants, cafes all available in the area. Ocean views from every part of the house. Orthopedic bed and pillows, fully functional and equipped kitchen, High speed internet.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
The cats have very different personalities which you will discover. It can be a lot of work but they are amazing cats who will give you back 100x whatever you give them. We prefer for it to be an ongoing relationship with future house-sitting. Due to the nature of the house, we cannot accommodate families. We cover any associated costs with the cats, the rent, and bills and we dont ask for a cleaning fee but we ask you to be mindful of consumption and leave the place tidy and clean.
Due to the time length only applicants with EU citizenship or residency can apply.
We would love someone who would be available across all dates!!

Huskies in Paradise
I thoroughly enjoyed looking after Kita and Lexi on the beautiful Greek island of Paros. When I first met Hannah and Peter to discuss the assignment, prior to me taking over the care of the dogs, I quickly realised that they were responsible animal lovers and that ‘the girls’ meant the world to them. Peter sent me a comprehensive ‘dog minding’ document and clearly explained all matters pertaining to the dogs, He also drove me around the immediate vicinity and showed me the major landmarks, shops, beaches, restaurants and introduced me to the vet who looks after the dogs dietary and medical needs. Peter and Hannah were always available to answer any questions and responded rapidly when the need arose. I enjoyed the walks with ‘the girls’ who were a joy to be with and attracted a lot of attention particularly from children. It was a great surprise to discover how much ‘pull’ 2 huskies have - especially when they see a chicken on the loose! All in all, I had a thoroughly enjoyable time in a super house overlooking the Aegean Sea with Kita and Lexi for company. Paradise indeed!
